Hi hi! I'm Danielle!

I am a photographer based out of Long Island, NY. I love capturing moments and turning them into lasting memories. I also love traveling, being outdoors, and being active.

And the long story…

I’ve had a camera in my hand for the last 15 years, whether that was snapping vacation photos on a disposable camera, recording videos of my friends hanging out when we were younger, or just walking around taking photos of any random interesting thing I saw.

While taking a film photography class in high school, I fell in love with the whole process of creating. Developing film and printing in the darkroom felt like a little piece of magic. When I was 17, I started photographing live music concerts.

I chased my creativity and attended Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography and a minor in Art History. While in college, I was a photography intern at Atlantic Records, photographing merchandise for their webstore, as well as capturing behind the scenes photos of music videos, events, and concerts.  I photographed concerts for about 8 years for different online publications. Outside of concerts, I also dabbled in some paparazzi work on the red carpet as well as photographed New York Fashion Week.

In college, I spent my spare time wandering around the city, documenting everything I saw. I loved the idea that capturing a photograph of someone, even if they were a minor part of the photograph, was a small glimpse into their life - just a small moment in time.

My husband and I love traveling and exploring. We have a one year old son and he is the best travel buddy we could ever ask for.

My love for documenting life around me has transformed into photographing family portraits, events, weddings, and branding images for entrepreneurs, hotels and small business owners. Photography is such a unique and amazing thing because you are able to see what sets others’ souls on fire, whether that is their love for their family or their business ideas coming to life.

With all that about me, I’d love to hear about you and your family! For more information on my work, to schedule a photo session, or just to say hello, please get in touch! Woohoo!
